The combination of punches in the operations of attack. In a combat situation single strokes are used relatively rarely and usually in some way combined with each other to form a whole attack action.
Combination attacks can be as follows:
- Repetitive, consistently applied 2 hits with one hand
- Double, consistently applied 2 hits one and the other hand
- Serial, consistently applied 3-4 and with some more punches alternating hands
Based technique of repeated attacks and double the same as described in the previous section technique of single punches.
Combining single strokes in combination, should consider some basic principles:
- The need for stability and a close eye on the enemy’s location and counteractions
- A combination of quick punches must precede strong
- During the previous strike should create conditions for follow-through:
- Maintaining a stable position;
- Making at the end of the previous strike starting position for subsequent stroke
- Active footwork in the transition from one hit to another
