History of Kickboxing has not for many years, from the time of the first half-hearted search and ending with today’s days. It is known that many martial arts spread from China, Japan and Korea: it wushu, karate, jiu-jitsu and taekwondo. In the early 70’s confirmed a new concept – sport karate, or karate uniform style, which is not a very good name. So far, among the different groups of athletes have different names of the sport, which we consider here. In the «new» Karate soon emerged borrowing from traditional Western forms of combat sport, that is, from English and French boxing. The question of borrowing given many studies and conclusions of sports science. All this led eventually to the emergence of a style (and in fact – the return well-forgotten old) booming sport – kickboxing.
Kick boxing started his winning ways in Europe and the end of the road is not visible. The tournament follows the tournament. Kick boxing and full contact part made throughout the respect and recognition. Regularly hosts national and world championships. Leading international amateur sports association kickboxing is the International Amateur Athletic Association of Kickboxing, headquartered in Brobi, Denmark. The association was first established in Frankfurt (Germany), its creators – Geert Lemmens and Peter Lund. Since Lemmens is the president of the sports union.
